I know where you can get one . . .

My new friend, the creative and inspiring Gillian Allen, the maven behind Art-E-Zine contacted me about an idea she had. If you are not familiar with art-e-zine, you will find it is one of the best little art sites in all of the world-wide-web! This online zine is a place to get your creative energies going. You will find artwork, workshops, specialized articles, places to surf for ideas and interesting sites, links to online materials in the U.S and U.K. It is a non-commercial site that has new articles and work posted often.

Gillian had the brilliant idea of creating an online calendar as the first article for the 2007 year and she picked 12 pieces from my blog and PictureTrail to use for each month. What an honor for me. I'm delighted that she wanted to use them and I'm thrilled to join with her in offering the exciting calendar that she created for you to download and use.
Keep your eye on the new stuff for 2007 throughout the year, as that is where all the new ideas Gillian has will manifest when she invites other generous artists to contribute their talents for all of us to enjoy and use. And while you're at it, check out the wondrous, idea-filled articles she posted in 2006. This site is a never-ending fount of ideas for the paper, paint, ink, stamp, collage and mixed media artist. Zip over to the Contents page to see the incredible collection of delights. Consider sharing your art. Contact information is on the contributions page. If you'd like to participate in the swaps, themes and submissions happening now check out the Art Exchange page. And don't miss the comradery at the online group, art-e-zine café.
Here are a couple of the monthly calendar pages to whet your appetite:

Oh, how cool is this??!! I'm thrilled to be able to print out your artwork and have a new piece to gaze at every month. Congratulations Sally!

Hi Sally
Thank you for being so generous with your artwork, I've printed two copies, one for work and one for my studio at home. Keep up the good work. I agree art-e-zine is a great site, I'm in a charm swap with them at the moment and Gillian is doing a page on my found objects jewellery.
