I just wanted to jump in here with one more Texture Tuesday offering before I head out to take Mom to the audiologist tomorrow to fit her for hearing aids. Then on Thursday, I'll be taking her cat, Li'l Booger, to the vet to check out her right front paw that she has been favoring now for about two weeks.
This week, as I said in my last post, the Texture Tuesday challenge was to use Kim Klassen's texture, "Golden" with our photos.
The photo at the top of the page was shot with my iPhone 4 Hipstamatic Camera using the Bettie XL lens and Float Film. That gave me lots of texture, light leaks, and a frame. I added Kim Klassen's "Golden" texture in two layers to add texture and warm the colors a bit. One layer was at multiply 100% and the other was soft Light 76%. That addition also seemed to give a little more definintion to the image.
Even the image of Li'l Booger has three layers of Kim's "Golden" texture.
This is another image in which I used two layers of Kim's texture, "Golden;" one at multiply 100% and the other at Soft Light 54%. This image started out as an iPhone Hipstamatic Camera shot using the chunky lens and the DreamCanvas film.
Here is one final image using Kim's "Golden" texture with her May Magic #2 texture. Maybe this is what Mom was reaching for in the last photo?
I'm having so much fun in Kim's Texture Tuesday challenges. Why don't you check them out over at the bottom of her cafe page?
