Next, here are a couple of slide shows to entertain you while I catch up on my sleep and rest my aching body. (I find it harder and harder to recover from a marathon stress session!)
This one has some pictures of the decorations I put up for Christmas. Everyone thought the house looked very festive.
And this slide show has some very poor photos of the Christmas bows I created for the sanctuary at our church. I tried to get pictures inside the sanctuary but the lighting was atrocious. Since the day I took photos, there have been millions of poinsettias added to the chancel but of course, I haven't had a chance to take pictures of that gorgeous sight. So, please, use your artist's imagination when you view this show:
Last, here are a few snapshots of the grandkids on Christmas morning. (Note to my extended family: as you observed on Christmas day, I didn't manage much "out-of-kitchen" time for photgraphy. As soon as Jack, Jr. or Jim sends some scans to me, I'll add them to this slideshow.)
Hopefully, everyone had as blessed a holiday as my family did this year. We are grateful to God for all our blessings and especially for the cherished gift of His son some 2006 years ago. We wish Jesus a happy birthday season.
