When my grandson, Kade (right), and his friend, Eric (left), both 10 years old, were having their annual week long "Camp T" with us this month, we had our usual time in the studio where Kade asked me, "Mimi, can we make a REAL book? What do you think I said? LOL. I think they did a fantastic job on their hardbound, sewn signature books. In fact, my grandson, Kade, liked it so much that he made another softbound book with sewn signatures in just a few minutes right before they had to leave. Here's a better look at the books:
Surely among our three grandkids, I'll manage to make a book artist out of at least one! Hope so, I need company in my old age!
P.S. Kade might have the heart of an artist -- look at that haircut (not). He and Eric are taking advantage of no dress code while they are out of school for the summer. Two more weeks and I guess it'll be a trip to the barber.
